Screen Printed or Embroidered Workwear: Which Technique to Choose
Workwear with embroidered logos is our default for daily use garments. The thread withstands the shifts and washes that other techniques eventually give in to, and the logo is digitised just once: any subsequent replacement is identical to the first order. We embroider on the chest, sleeve, or back, on polo shirts, softshells, fleeces, and caps.
Screen printed workwear has its niche: runs of several dozen garments of the same colour and design, logos in one to three flat colours, and especially the back — the company name readable from afar. On cotton T-shirts and sweatshirts, screen printed workwear decreases in price per unit with volume, as the cost of preparing the screens is spread across all garments. For short runs or full-colour logos, we use digital transfer (DTF), and vinyl is reserved for short texts. In a complete uniform, it's common to combine embroidery on the chest and large screen printing on the back; the table of techniques by garment is available at custom corporate textiles.
How It Works
- We define the uniform together by role: garments, corporate colours and logo placement. You see each personalised garment before approval.
- Each person selects their size on the portal — or you provide the list by centre — and we embroider exactly that.
- We deliver by workplace, in bulk, or to each person's home; and replenish by unit when someone joins.
How We Collect Sizes for the Entire Workforce
- Collection without spreadsheets: each person accesses the Pekata portal from their mobile, without installing anything, and selects size, fit, and colour from the options you approve. Without corporate email, access is via individual code on paper or QR.
- For those who don't respond: the portal sends automatic reminders to those who haven't chosen yet, and you can see in real-time who has participated. As we produce from 25 units, those who are late receive their garment later, without reopening the order.
- Size changes: most are avoided by offering the full range, from XS to 4XL depending on the model, and the three fits — men's, women's fitted, and unisex. If a garment still needs to be changed, a new unit is produced; the cost and who bears it are detailed in the proposal.
- Multiple centres and countries: we deliver grouped by work centre — and by shift, with a list for the manager — or to each person's home, across Europe. The portal is available in seven languages (Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese) and the company receives a single invoice.
Team Renewals, Continuous Hiring and Multiple Centres
Suitable for renewing the entire team's wardrobe with a delivery per centre or for monthly new hires: the work garment is part of the welcome pack for each new joiner and is replenished from 25 units, without reopening an order of a hundred.
What we don't do: certified personal protective equipment (high visibility, flame retardant, safety footwear). For that, there are specialised suppliers; we dress the team with your brand, deliver it wherever needed and, if you wish, in the same shipment as the rest of the corporate merchandise.

Yes: 25 units per reference. For full team renewals, the price per garment decreases and we plan delivery by centre; replenishments for new hires are grouped until that quantity.
Is the workwear certified?
It's professional workwear from recognised brands, designed for daily work, but not certified personal protective equipment. If your activity requires PPE (high visibility, flame retardant, safety footwear), we'll inform you and refer you to a specialised supplier.
How are sizes and replenishments managed?
Each person selects their size on the Pekata portal and the garment is delivered to their workplace or home. When someone joins, they are registered on the portal and receive their workwear without HR needing to request anything.
How much does a customised work uniform cost?
A work polo shirt with an embroidered logo costs, as a guide, between €15 and €25 per unit, and a softshell jacket between €35 and €60, excluding VAT. The final price depends on the garment, the number of embroidered positions, and the volume: prices decrease for full workforce renewals. We finalise it in a proposal with each customised garment.
Do you make hospitality uniforms with logos?
Yes. Polo shirts, T-shirts, aprons, and caps with embroidered logos for the dining area, bar, and kitchen, in fabrics designed for daily washing. Each person selects their size on the portal, and replacements are ordered per unit, without reopening an order for the entire location.
How do you collect sizes if the workforce doesn't have company email?
With an individual code on paper or a QR: each person accesses the portal from their mobile, without installing anything, and selects their size and fit from the available options. HR doesn't need to collect sizes in a spreadsheet; they can see participation on the dashboard and know at any moment who still needs to make a choice.
What happens if someone doesn't choose their size?
The portal sends automatic reminders to those who haven't chosen yet. If there are still people missing when the batch closes, there are two options: you provide us with their size and we produce it with the rest, or it can be done later, as producing individually means there's no need to reopen a large order to make just three garments.
Who covers a size change?
This is agreed upon in the proposal, before anything is produced, to avoid any disputes. Most changes are avoided by offering the full range of sizes, from XS to 4XL depending on the model, and fits for men, women, and unisex.
